TREASURER David Lurie, Marketing Director Schenectady Jewish Community Center P: (518) 377-8803 x236 David Lurie is marketing director at the Robert and Dorothy Ludwig Schenectady Jewish Community Center in Niskayuna, where he handles member relations, advertising and strategic marketing issues. Prior to joining the staff at the JCC, Lurie spent thirty years in the office products/promotional products/office furnishings industry with a local dealer and held various management positions. Lurie has served as NYCRAMA’s VP business development and has been active on the Marketing Committee. For the past ten years, Lurie has volunteered as a small business mentor at SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Business, and is secretary of the local chapter. He concluded his tenure as treasurer of the Niskayuna Consumers’ CO-OP Supermarket in 2009, where he also led the marketing and promotions committee. Other past community volunteer involvement includes board membership on the Niskayuna Community Foundation and past president of the Niskayuna Kiwanis. Lurie holds MPA and MBA degrees from the University at Albany. |
