13th Annual Mark of Excellence Awards 2007

Recognizing Marketing Effectiveness

Each year, the Mark of Excellence Award Program recognizes highly effective marketing programs from companies within the Capital Region.

This year's awards program hopes to bring even greater recognition to the community of marketing professionals for the bottom-line results that their work has achieved. By judging based on results, we are able to recognize the ingenuity and effectiveness of the smallest organizations, as well as the high-powered marketing of big companies.

Eligibility

Only recent marketing initiatives developed locally are eligible for entry. Remittance of past entries is not permitted. A marketing campaign is the 'total pool' of marketing elements developed to achieve a set of objectives. These elements may include research, advertising, public relations, sales promotions, direct mail, pricing, distribution strategy, etc.

Marketer of Excellence

The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association will honor E. Kristen Frederick president and CEO of the Community Foundation for the Capital Region.
