MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Jamie Myers Featured in AMA National Publication

imageJamie Myers, director of marketing and sales for Radius Global Market Research and a member of our local NYCRAMA chapter since 2001, is featured in the July 30 cover story of Marketing News, the flagship publication of the American Marketing Association.

The article, "Name that Marketer!" focuses on the marketing minds behind some of today's best-positioned marketing products and services. The six featured marketers and marketing researchers unveil their game plans on how their offerings will thrive the post-recession economy.

imageMyers discusses PriceDeveloper, a research service launched in April 2010 by Radius Global Market Research, which was ranked No. 31 in Marketing News' Honomichl Top 50 Report last month. PriceDeveloper helps companies determine the optimal price point for a product or service, to reflect its value matched with what consumers will pay for it.

"Pricing is a strategic decision. A lot of marketers on the brand side of things see it as a separate issue and treat it tactically [to their detriment]," says Myers. As companies are taking a harder look at their bottom lines, PriceDeveloper is one of Radius' top three most-requested services by clients. "Clients are wanting to position [their services] in a compelling way and justify the price that they are offering."
